| I forgot all about xanga due to my new obsession with facebook, but I'm
not sure that I really like facebook all that much, it gets old kind of
fast. Today I had the most ironic and insane day ever. So I
get to OSU campus and try to find a parking spot in the stadium (you
know, the beloved horseshoe that holds thousands of adoring fans with
ideally enough space to park your car) well it took me 20 minutes of
circling the stadium before I finall come upon a spot (a pretty decent
one for what it's worth). Which I decided then and there that OSU
needs a ginormous parking garage because it's summer there should be
parking everywhere since half the student body is not there. And
then I walk to class and on 17th Ave. I stop because there are police
cars blocking out the middle and fire trucks headed there and
reporters, weirdest thing. But being too cool for myself I
decided not to find out what happened just to find out from my dad on
the radio that there was a bomb threat. This is the second one
I've kind of been in? Kind of crazy. Between class and
office hours i decided to make a steak and shake run (best shakes in
the world!). On the way there I got invited to my first official
OSU party which I probably won't go to but it's still makes me feel
better because I'm a loserface. On the way back i waited to cross
the street as a COTA bus drives by and splashes me head to toe in dirty
High St. water. Lovely. I tried so hard to stay dry, I even
had my umbrella and rolled up my pant legs (yet again, I'm a
loser). But I must admit, it makes an amusing story...after I
dried up. After my parents got home and heard my lovely story
about the bus they were kind of annoyed that it would downpour in
central Ohio but not Dublin. And then my mom starts talking about
how there are droughts and then floods in different parts of the
world/city and how the temperature this summer has been
outrageous. That after watching An Inconveinent Truth...hella
scary coincidence. And Cameron Diaz was on Ellen promoting her
Prius and fuel economy and how to save water. Too many
coincidences...I'm not sure how much I like that. Now I have to
go to AE for an hour long mandatory back to school meeting. I get
to learn how jeans fit and how to match colors and other stuff that
seems kind of trivial now. I swear I'm going to start recycling...
